Secondly, pub trivia is a glorious ritual where you trade beer money for the chance to prove you know more about obscure 80s pop songs than the guy in the corner wearing a fanny pack. His name is Jeff, by the way. Just don’t make eye contact and you’ll be fine. Probably.

A: Patience, Iago. It goes like this… You gather your friends, you find a team name that’s either pun-tastic or completely unoriginal, and then you try to remember all the useless facts you've accumulated since birth. The team with the most points gets the ultimate prize: bragging rights until next week. Some venues also provide additional prizes like gift cards, free beer, merch, etc.

A: Anything and everything! We've got categories like "stuff you should have learned in high school," "celebrities you vaguely recognize," and "what’s in my pocket?."

On a more serious note, the categories are wide-ranging and cover a variety of topics that should be considered common knowledge in the first few rounds. The deeper you go into the trivia night, the harder the questions get.
